Karma acquires new property in Carcassonne, France,
and early expressions of interest for Karma Minoan, Crete

We are pleased to announce the acquisition of our new property in Carcassonne, France. Outside of Paris, Carcassonne remains one of the most popular tourist hotspots in France. The old Cité – with its astoundingly well-preserved fortifications, quaint cobbled streets and boutique fare – offers a sense of old France, where Kings and Queens ruled the land. The surrounding countryside is also a major AOC wine region; wine lovers will be spoilt for choice.

Opening in 2018, Karma is happy to take open for bookings for 2018 against very special introduction member offers of interest for those wishing to experience this beautiful region for themselves.

In addition Karma Minoan, our new property located on the stunning isle of Crete in Greece, is undergoing a full refurbishment in time for the 2018 season. Located only 5 kilometres from Crete’s fashion, arts and dining epicentre – Agios Nikolaos – Karma Minoan is now open for bookings for 2018 against very special introduction member offers.

To register your interest for either property, simply call Odyssey.

Better yet, why not plan a European sojourn of a lifetime and combine France, Greece and Germany and the Isles of Scilly (UK)? We can help you plan every step of the way.

As part of Karma Group’s partnership with Netball WA and the West Coast Fever, you can see the Fever take on the Giants at HBF Stadium on the 30th of April!

“We have stayed at Karma Jimbaran & Karma Bavaria. We loved every minute.

We were taken to the Castle in Bavaria Neuschwanstein The area is so beautiful, mountains & snow & everything is so green & pretty. You can get the train to lots of other places. A real bargain at $99 per week.

Karma Jimbaran is lovely too, right on the beach with all the restaurants.

The Units are so roomy & your own pool you feel so spoilt.

Would love to win one of these”

“We have just had the most wonderful holiday at Karma Royal Benaulim. If you are looking for a lovely relaxing holiday then this is the place for you. We found the staff just wonderful - so friendly and helpful - special mention to Marissa who organised our day tour and just about anything else we needed. Being a small resort the staff get to know you fairly quickly and are always there with a smile.

The resort rooms are very comfortable and quite large with both aircon and fans. Wifi is available in your room and throughout the resort. Having a little shop onsite with essential supplies was great - we were able to self cater for breakfast with fresh milk available each day. I was amazed to find that they are open until 11 pm. The pool area is nice and quiet - no fighting for sun beds in the morning here!

We did eat at the resort restaurant and had our first Goan curry there which was delicious. There are also some restaurants outside the hotel - special mention to Three Kisses Restaurant which is five minutes walk away. The guys there will make some recommendations if you are unsure what to order. The price of eating out in Goa is amazingly cheap!

Our day tour was interesting, covering some really beautiful churches, passing brightly coloured local houses, palm trees along the side of the road and fields of rice. We visited a fort and drove through the capital city of Panjim seeing the quaint Portugese colony on our way back.

The beach at Benaulim is lovely and seems to stretch for miles and with the beach huts providing sun beds and umbrellas its easy to spend your whole day there - order your lunch and drinks from your sun bed if you like.

If there's one trip you should not miss (its worth getting off the sun bed for this one) its a tour the Braganza House in Chandor and the house Palacio do Deao in Quepem. The Braganza house is a wonderful example of Portuguese architecture which is filled with beautiful furniture and chandeliers. 15 minutes away is the Palacio do Deao which has been restored by its current owners. If you book ahead the owners will do lunch for you - this was a real highlight for us - sitting on their verandah eating an amazing lunch - the food just kept coming.

To sum up, we enjoyed Karma Royal Benaulim for its lovely small size, wonderful staff and the beautiful beach”
